Doctor Who in a nutshell

So, to escape the reality of pain and real life, I sometimes delve into the world of science fiction, specifically the world of Doctor Who.

For those who don’t know who Doctor Who is, where have you been for the last 50 years? I will gladly catch you up on anything Doctor Who or other science fiction shows, just ask. Oh! Don’t ask about The Walking Dead. I have NO idea what is going on with The Walking Dead. I only have so many TV watching hours in a day, so, I had to cut out something, and The Walking Dead was what got cut. My world encompases space sciecen fictions stuff such as Stargate, Firefly, Star Trek, the aforementioned Doctor Who, and many others. Yes, I like to cosplay. If you don’t know what cosplay is, don’t look up sex positions. Cosplay is not a new sex position, although, many people who do participate in cosplay use their costumes to participate in adult time after conventions, but, that is a whole world we will not be discussing here. 🙂

Cosplay is mostly a family event involving very awesome costumes of your favorite show, and usually based on the specific theme of a particular event,  such as a science fiction convention.

Here is Doctor Who summed up in one MEME.

TN lawmakers failed their people again — What the hell TN? Get your S**T together.

TN You have failed your people again!!

It is sad that in a 1st world country, the boundaries between states is what determines if someone can receive medical help or not. It is sad to know the mileage of driving from one area to another determines the level of health care a patient can receive. It is sad that a state, which professes to love life and love babies, continuously makes decisions to kill the same people they claim to protect. TN, come out of the dark ages, you look like hypocrites.

Nurse treats Veteran very rudely (what else is new?)

This is the exact stuff many Veterans have to put up with when going to the VA.

Now, let me ask you, if your civilian nurse or civilian DR treated you like this, would you put up with it? Heck no! You would find a new office, but, many Veterans have no choice but to go to their local VA for medical help. The local nurses and Drs in those offices know those Veterans have no choice and treat them as second class citizens.

I hope this nurse never finds another job dealing with any patients. This is not the way to treat any patient, especially a Veteran!

When will the VA fix these issues? They keep promising to get rid of people like this, yet, these type of stories pop up almost every week. These issues need to be fixed sooner rather than later.

Canned Biscuits Waffle!

My goodness! Many of my blog entries include food! I guess that tells you what is on my mind most of the time. I promise, I have more hobbies than just eating. 🙂 Really! I promise. I really do. The truth is, I do love food and when I’m hungry, I tend to search the internet for all kinds of fun and easy stuff.

Tonight, I really wanted a waffle but, I did not want to mess up the kitchen while making the waffles. I looked in my refrigerator and realized, with much excitement, that I had a can of biscuits. I had watched many videos online about making stuff in a waffle iron, so, I decided to give it a try. IT WAS FABULOUS!!! These were fast, good, and, the best part, NO MESS!

This is a photo of the Biscuit Waffle I made. I used my waffle maker on half power and cooked the biscuits for about 1 minute 45 seconds.

** Hint: when you first put the canned biscuits in, don’t force the lid shut, just wait a couple of seconds, and then shut the lid the whole way. **

Also, if you have someone over for breakfast, and just want individual biscuits, these break apart wonderfully. I completed cooking the entire can of biscuits in less than 4 minutes and I never had to turn the oven on, nor did I have to dirty a pan.

Fun with the waffle iron

Over the next few days, I am going to try hash browns. I am also going to some cake mix this weekend.

Below is one of my favorite internet ladies! Yes. I have a FANGIRL Crush on her. Give her some love! She is so funny and very interesting. Her husband is very funny too! I would really love for them to have their own sitcom sometime.

Amazing Video of Mobular Rays

Earth Porn! This is just a very amazing video of nature.

http://blog.therainforestsite.com/untamed-americas-gigantic-school-of-rays/?utm_source=social&utm_medium=trsfan&utm_campaign=untamed-americas-gigantic-school-of-rays&utm_term=20150402

Mobula is a genus of ray in the family Myliobatidae (eagle rays).[2] Their appearance is similar to that of manta rays, which are in the same family. Species of this genera are often collectively referred to as “flying mobula” or simply “flying rays”, due to their propensity for breaching, sometimes in a spectacular manner. The devil fish can attain a disc width of up to 5.2 m (17 ft) and can probably weigh over a ton,[3] second only to the Manta species in size. Despite their size, little is known about this genus, much of it being from anecdotal accounts.

Mobula rays in the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortés) have been reported to breach as high as 2 m above the sea.[4]

Rocking to “All About That Bass” this morning

I am a big believer in “Don’t worry about your size!” There are very healthy women at all sizes. Get your regular yearly check-ups and if things start going side-ways, then start worrying. Happiness in life is a lot more important to health, then the silly number on a scale. Yes, exercising is good for almost everyone and making your body the best it can be is awesome, but, if you are short, tall, naturally thin, or naturally bigger, there isn’t much you can do to become more than what you really are. Be the best human you can be, be as healthy as you can be, and always be kind to others, is way more important than starving yourself to fit in jeans you were never meant to purchase.

Trying to be something you are not, whether it is trying to gain weight or lose weight, puts more stress on your body compared to just accepting who you are and being the best you can be! Do the best to make the best of what you have been handed in life and rock it like no tomorrow!

So, rock that booty!!
